I play with cpu batting at 20 and still let up too many hits! I gave up 24 to the Twins! Although I'm playing as the Jays, their pitching sucks! My cpu batting slider is at 20. Every keeps on posting their sliders, but don't say their settings for:
variable pitching (mines is at high), pitcher cursor (mines is off), vibration (mines is off). With these setting it makes it very tough to spot your ball. Do you use these settings too!

Go with medium. It's much more realistic--with high you groove too many pitches.

so medium is more realistic. That explains why I kept on giving up so many home runs and hits!

I put USER(my) variability to HVP, and the CPU's at MVP.

I think I changed it back to MVP for both USER and CPU, but I have to check on that...Unfortunately I won't give you a definitive answer till Tuesday...that's when I'm home.

You know also some games I give up lots of hits and other games I don't. The least amt of hits I gave up was 2 hits to the Pirates.

I'm sure you know this, but it also depends ALOT on how well you throw, meaning knowing when to throw balls and when to throw strikes. And it also depends a lot on knowing when to pull your pitchers out before he's tired.

That's the one I get caught with all the time. Say I have a pitcher to pitch the 8th, seems like he has enough stamina to get through the inning. But then all of the sudden, I just get nailed for 3 or 4 runs and end up losing. I'm starting to be more careful with my pitchers now though, so that doesn't happen.
