Does anyone own both games? If you do, which game would you rather have?

I own both games, and OOTP is the pick for me. I'm a little biased...I like sims more than console games anymore (and I run a baseball league using OOTP5, check my sig). But WSB's good...I just think OOTP's more complete, especially after the latest patch.

Which would you prefer for one player franchise mode?

I wish ootp5 had like a demo or you can rent it somehow..

OOTP, easily. WSB's good, but it's not even as deep as ASB, let alone PureSim. Consider that OOTP is deeper than PureSim by a considerable margin (although I do like that game), I think you have your choice.

Granted, it's my opinion, one that's perhaps biased...but I try to stay as neutral as possible.

I completely agree. I have both and find myself playing OOTP all the time. I'm just flat out addicted to that game. There is no comparison in the franchise capabilities. That being said, WSB is still a great game.

I haven't played OOTP yet. But what I say is that one is for a PC. And the other is for a gaming console. In games like WSB your supposed to act like the hitters and managers. But in OOTP your supposed to be the GM.
