Why is MLB Fantasy All-Stars getting a sequel?
It received mediocre reviews, and sold about 40,000 copies according to vgzcharts.com. What could possibly have made 2k put out 2k9 of this series, instead of at least trying their had at a serious MLB 2k9 game for the DS.Tags: None -
Re: Why is MLB Fantasy All-Stars getting a sequel?
I know all video game companies' main objective is to make money but no one does it more sleazily than 2K. They are basically making 1 version of 2K9 on every system to try to rake in as much money as possible from innocent gamers who don't know any better. It probably costs them nothing to make a 09 version of Fantasy All Star save for a few hours to update the names of the roster, then they can ship it out with the nice new Lincecum cover and get a few people to get the game.
If you think Fantasy All Star is bad, you should see the Wii version. They didn't even bother getting the cover boy Lincecum right. In the game, Tim Lincecum is a short hair, middle age white guy. Some white players are black, some black players are white, and some hispanic players are white. It is freaking ridiculous how little effort they put into their games.Pro Yakyu Spirits Translation Site
