I'm pretty sure that I won't be with masses on this one but does anyone else give MLB 09: The Show every possible chance and just keep coming back to PYS 5K?

What completely did it for me was watching the WBC and not knowing a dam thing about Japanese baseball or it's players and being able to recognize the players on the field just because of the batting stances or wind up. The level of detail put into the graphics and the "signature style" is truly amazing.

To me PYS 5K is a much better game all around compared to Sony's game and just wanted to see if anyone is still playing this game.

*bring cursor hitting to the show so it won't feel like the same recycled game and please do something about the fielding and the fact that everyone has Roberto Clemente's cannon out there.

I can totally relate to you on that point. PYS NEEDS NO SLIDERS. That shows you something right there. The Show is a better game than before but PYS is tthe game that I prefer. The analogy that I use is that if u watch Japanese style b-ball, it is evident that they are technical and play the game that way - contact, bunting, stealing, pitching, defense - not focused on power hitters and big hulk like players like the MLB. PYS is similar in that it is very technical to the point that it needs no slider adjustments. The ball trajectory speed is good, the # of K's per game is realistic. I definitely enjoy this game. If they stopped making PYS after this version, this game would stand for years on its own.
