I've had PYS 4 & 5.

Got my copy of 6. I'd really like to play online against you guys this year. I've never set up a Konami Online account...

Can someone please help me out a give me some steps on how to go about getting set up to play online.

does this game seem to have any cpu comeback code or whatever you want to call it where the cpu goes nuts at times and it doesn't matter what you do they are going to get a hit.

Hey Cyphre, It's Bdiddy51791 from PYS 5. What's up? I am looking forward to playing you again online this year, but I have a quick question. Does this game have team play? I was looking at a features list on play asia and noticed this.

"With an upgraded online system, ask your friends online and join a team."

So does this have a co-op mode or 2 v 2 online? Thanks!

Wasup BDiddy? I can't say for sure because I just got the game today and am right about to put it in my PS3 (THANK GOD; I'M HOME!!) Anyhow, I'll let you know as I play through all the game features.

As for the "descriptions" of japanese games in general on web-stores selling them; these translations are "vague" and do not necessarily translate 100% accurate.

As for playing online; I'll be playing it religiously....so, you know where to find me.

Yes!!! my order was shipped today, i am stoked, one question do i have to use a japan ps3 profile name to play online and do i have to make a jap konami account?

You DO NOT need a PS3 Jap account and if you have a Konami ID from MSG4 it should work. If not, yes you need a Game ID to play online and you get it by creating a Konami Style ID account. (it doesn't have to be a Jap Konami account).

OK Buddy; go to https://id.konami.net/login.do and choose your country (so you can follow your language of choice) select to register and follow the instructions. YOUR DONE!

Make sure to keep note of Konami ID and password (this is to login on the website ONLY!)

And then save your Game ID and password (this is to play the game online)

ENJOY!!!!!

You can purchase CLIMAX mode with Virtual Points, and if it's turned on, games are kept close. So if you are winning 10 - 0, the cpu usually comes back pretty strong.

Can't think of any glitches off the top of my head. PYS 4, the first for PS3 was loaded with glitches and bad load times, so much that a lot of us have PYS 4 for PS2 instead.
PYS 5 pretty much cleared all of that up.
PYS 6 is dead on.

Just go back to the shop and click on it again, it will disable it and say OFF.

I just threw what would've been a perfect game (I walked one guy) against the Baystars. And then the game didn't save my pennant race mode

Does anyone know where to go to save during a season?

Sorry to burst your bubble, but that would've not been a perfect game; just a no-hitter. A perfect game happens when a pitcher faces the minimum batters (27) and allows no hits, no walks and no errors are made. (meaning no one gets on base from opposing team).

To save your season, when you advance to the screen where you see a bunch of icons at the bottom (a manager, a pennant, a calendar, etc) before you start your next game; the second to last from left to right of these icons is where you save the game. Click on it and a bunch of options will pop up.....the very top one is to save. Click on that top option and a question will pop up asking you to press X or O......make sure you press X.......your game is saved.
