I hate to say it, but we don't seem to have a really big OOTP league following here at Operation Sports. We have a couple leagues here and there, but I would really suggest trying over at the OOTP Boards.

That's where I found my first league. Lots of good ones over there if you look hard enough/ask enough questions.

Yeah, it'd be cool, but like CB said, it doesn't seem like we have a big OOTP following here

We could just get together all the OS guys we can and just join the same league, if we can find a solid one over at the OOTP forums

We do have a lot of guys that play the game on OS. We just don't post about it.

We have our own site to play and talk about it.

But I'd join any OS run OOTP game.

Yeah we need someone to garner interest see how many gm's are interested and go from there. Also what would you do? Current players or historical?

I'd be down with a fictional league. I've only done current, but that was way back with OOTP 6.5. I'd be interested in trying a fictional league.

I'm currently in a historical and a fictional. I haven't really played out much in the fictional one yet, but I can tell it's going to be a lot of fun.

As for the historical one, it's not too bad either. It's kind of sweet watching old baseball on MLB network and thinking "Hey, that guy was on my OOTP team!" We're currently in our 1938 season, so things are going good.

The only problem I really have is one sim period is one month game time, so you don't get as attached to the games/players IMO.
