Is the bigs a real baseball game like MLB 2K9 and MLB 09 the show or is it like NBA Street or something but for MLB?

It's an arcade game. It doesn't try to be sim at all. You should check out a few reviews of the previous game.

I sure miss SlugFest, though. I don't know... something about being able to punch others and catch fire was more appealing to me for arcade baseball, not just huge home runs. Plus, it was funny all around (animations, commentary, etc.).
