Re: Pro Yakyu Spirits 6 Post-release Thread
Sadly this forum doesn't come up anymore. Had to delete some of the older games to make room for some newer games and lost some of the translations. Guess I'll have to cobble through the menus and try to figure out some the settings.Do you have the PS3 version? I believe WBC mode can be played online on the PS3. I don't know because I have the PS2 version which has no online.
As far as your first question and your third question, check out this thread
This is a translation guide for Pro Yakyuu Spirits 5. All the options menus are nearly identical in PYS6.
But note, you can only SAVE your options in the PYS mode. (not the WBC mode)
So I recommend the first thing you do is go into Pro Yakyuu Spirits mode. (not WBC, you know how it gives you two choices when you first start the game)
Anyway go into PYS mode. Then you'll get to the PYS6 Main Menu. And select the last option at the bottom called utility / option (below the VP Shop) In made a post about that main menu a few posts above.
Then it will bring up an menu in english. Then, select "User Settings." Once you get to that menu, the options are basically identical to the PYS5 options. So just use that translation guide to figure out what each option does. keep in mind though some options (like Basic+ pitch speed, and Normal+, Hard- difficulty have to be unlocked through the VP shop).
Once you have the settings you want, upon exiting out it should prompt you to save your custom settings. Click save and it those settings will load in WBC mode.
My advice to you is to find the right settings before you go online.
Also take note of the Match Settings before you start a game. They look like this and are in the PYS5 translation guide:
Match Settings
1. 1P Condition Mark - Random(default)
2. COM Condition Mark - Random(default)
3. Errors - On, Off
4. Injuries - On, Off
5. Replays - On, Off
6. Cut Scenes - Normal, Few, Very Few
7. Innings - 1, 3, 6, 9
8. Extra Innings - None, 12, 15, (15 with WBC rules)*
9. Called - None, 1-10 runs
10. Ball Type - Normal,Heavy (Light and Very Light ball types are purchased in the VP shop in PYS6)
11. Color Commentary - Random, Pattern 1, Pattern 2,
*Note in PYS6's WBC mode, by default extra innings are set to WBC rules. (which means runners start on 1st and 2nd in the 13th inning) You can turn this off by just selecting "15", "12" or "none" here.
How are you liking PYS6 so far? let me know if you need any help with the menus or have any other questions.Comment
