I finally won my first game.
There is a tug of war type game within the game that I like. If I jump onto to a good streak of pitching, or hitting, even if I don't make get any runs my meter goes up first, at which point I can either save it until the computer gets it's meter up and use mine to counteract theirs. Or I can go on the offense and use my to score some early runs.
At the end of the game I used mine first and then they used theirs and then I used mine again and then again they used theirs. With a tie game in the 9th inning, I needed just one more strike out to fill my meter once I did, Teixeira was up and I turned on my meter to hit a walk off homerun! Now I scored without the meter but it's an interesting way to add lots of strategy in the game.
