Played 04 to death, but can't get it to run on Windows Vista.

I have vista and if I remember right ,you have to go to compatibility and change it to xp. and then run as administrator.
I also have it running on no CD.
That should help.
Also do you have any old teams for HH 04?
The only ones I have are from a guy called 86Mets or something like that and its great players of each team. which is nice but I want teams like the 95 braves 71 pirates and so on.

I've got tons of old files, stadiums, uniforms, data files, etc., ect. I tried that compatabililty mode and it didn't work (if I was doing it right).

Jim, Dont give up. Keep trying the games are worth the effort, try windows ME.
Sure HH isnt the EYE CANDY of todays games BUT they Play REAL!
Jim I am going to try and back track on how I got them to work..

i say get rid of vista, my son had it on his new computer it didn't take him long to grab my copy of xp and install it.

the graphics may not be up to par with the new games out there but i feel it still plays a far better game of baseball overall.

Where the heck did you get rosters for HH 04? I have been on sites and there is none.. Hum I need to look more...

If anybody needs the stadiums/uniforms/data files, etc., just PM me and I'll dig the stuff out for you. I might have to put it on sendspace because they might be big files.

I've still got DangerZs editor too. Makes a world of difference when you do roster moves.
