We always talk about our favorite baseball games but what are your most disliked?

Here's mine in no order...

1) Tommy lasorda baseball...Sega Genesis

2) Triple Play...PS1/PS2

3) Baseball Tonight...Sega Genesis

4) MLBPA Baseball...Sega Genesis


.....Those are just the ones I can remember

Tommy LaSorda? That was one very cool game....shallow but cool.

I think MLB 2K8 (360) is the worst baseball game I can remember. I also didn't care too much for:

Reggie Jackson Baseball (SEGA Master System)

The entire Triple Play Series (PS1/PS2)

Tony LaRussa Baseball (SEGA Genisis)

Ken Griffey Baseball (N64) and Roger Clemens (SEGA Genesis & SNES) were a love/hate relationship for me (mostly hate).

Yeah, I dont know why but I just didn't care for Tommy Lasorda Baseball. However, I actually liked Tony Larussa Baseball 95 for the Genesis.

Don't forget about MLB 2K2, that game was a joke. Was pretty much a slugfest, could hit a bunch of home run's but you'd give up 4 or 5 a game. WSB 2K1 imo was a cool game but they dropped the ball with that one.

MVP ncaa Baseball 07 is pretty underrated I was gonna say as well.

Stick with MVP 05 type games, ASB old school titles and your good. Not the best nowadays if you just got XBox but PS3 owner's enjoy The Show I'm sure. 2k9 is playable but not the best experience sometimes.

I can't think back too far, but here are some off the top of my head:


- MLB 2K6 (Xbox 360, not the Xbox version which I liked)

- Triple Play Baseball (PS2)

- High Heat Major League Baseball 2004 (wasn't really a fan of the series for the visual downgrades as is, but this was a lackluster effort even for this franchise IMO)

- MLB 2004 (PS2; wasn't bad, but compared to what else was out there and what I remember the PSX games offered, it was by far a huge let down)

- Backyard Baseball (post-2003)

OH! I forgot Triple play did have Bob Costas doing play by play.

That game was horrible.

I had so many problems getting it to run on my computer. And even when it did run, the gameplay was abysmal. The most hilarious thing was the fact that players sprinted around the bases when they hit a homer.

I think jorge380 was talking about 'Inside Pitch 2003' for the XBOX; IP 2003
is a 'guilty pleasure' for me. I still own the game and "dust it off" once in a while.

I only didn't name that game because I didn't play it enough. I played it a bit in a Toys R Us or something, but I took it as maybe a rough first year or something. Since NFL Fever had a decent franchise mode I was thinking there was maybe more to the game. So I wasn't going to hark on something I didn't know too much about.

MLB2k5 PS2
Triple Play any platform after 99, which was above average.
there was a PC game around the time high heat started, that just plain sucked but i cannot remember the name right now. i think it was hardball 98 or 99.

MLB2k6 for the PS2. I only threw wild pitches after a guy got on base. WTF.

Just stop....hahaha... we play it every once and awhile because it's just hilarious to watch and play. So many amazing, odd, crappy glitches and just awful gameplay. Just terrible hahaha...

I dont understand why people dont like HH 04?
The grafics are good the gameplay is good. The only problem is you had to use a keyboard and no mouse.
For me the problem was/is no old teams rosters..
