    MLB Keeps getting better.....

The franchise option are really nice. Start a franchise and "make" your team(Draft) including created players and start a franchise.
Or Start a career with a created player etc..

On a gameplay moment. I just had one of my most exciting/disappointed moment ever...
I guessed a pitch correct and thought I creamed it. The announcer screamed A LONG DRIVE TO RIGHT!!!!....I threw my controller down and raised both arms ...just to watch the right fielder catch the ball on the warning track...Pretty cool...

Also there is a "Action" button that you can use while ball is in play. Say you have a slow roller to third and you know if you take the time to field the ball with glove you probably wont get the out...Well you hit the action button and a few different things(depending on the position player) with happen. On infield the player will barehand the ball and throw in one motion. Basically it is a Pre-load a move option. Not really a Action button...
    I'm really loving this game....

What do the rosters look like? 25 created player? Also when they made this game (pre-XBOX) you couldn't play against another human in season mode. Has this been fixed?
Can you control all teams during season play. Thanks.

everytime my wife drags me to circuit city, i creep over to it and get a few swongs in. the game doesn't seem that bad at all. but i don't have a ps2 ( traded it in for an XBoX). is it a system selling for the ps2? what game gameplay glitches annoys you?...
I am glad I got the Buell- I love riding it, I love the oddball looks I get on the road- I love people asking "What IS that thing?" I love flying into a corner WAY too hot, scared spitless and sure I'll never hold it at this speed- and hearing the bike whisper "Sissy!"...

I wouldn't say it's a system seller at all, but a game that to me hasn't gotten the props it deserves.
From the different types of ways to play to the IMO solid gameplay makes it a very good game.
To tell you the truth there isn't what you would call an annoyance in the game for me except that in roughly 15 or so games I haven't seen an error yet.
The gameplay is flat out fun.
The cut scenes on long drives don't mean it's a hr. Usually it means the drive is long enough to be out but some go foul AND the cutscenes are few and far between..so they don't always come up on every long drive. Like I said in my earlier post..I hit one that I thought was surely out of the park..the announcer said A LONG DRIVE TO RIGHT!...I was pumped until it was cought at the warning track....So basically the HR suspense is in the game.
After so many games the excitement/fun is still there.

One cool thing is when you are batting. You have the option of guessing the type of pitch AND the location. Get them both right and your cursor "Locks" onto ball. Doesn't mean you'll get a hit because you still have to have good timing. Get only one right of the 2 and cursor stays the same size. If you only attempt to guess either the type OR location and get it right the cursor gets bigger. Get it wrong and the cursor gets smalller.
So basically you take a huge chance when guessing. Also depending on how well your hitter is in a situation, that determines how many locations you have to choose from. So if a hitter is doing good he might only have 2 locations to choose from..making the guess work easier(50/50 chance at getting it right)

While pitching everything is at your fingertips: WHere the hitter hits the ball(Spray chart), Infield/outfield shifting .
Something a lot of games still don't do is have a catcher snap throw...MLB has it.
All I know is it is a keeper for me and I am pretty particular/harsh on my sports games....

the only reason i would even bother renting this game in the previous versions was because of Vin Scully.
