Question about hitting interfaces in ASB

I recently traded in WSB for ASB, and so far, am not disappointed. I LOVE the expansion mode, and the gameplay is also very in depth and fun to play.

I however, have one question. Which hitting interface gives the best variety of hits and hit types? I have been using the classic cursor lately, and while it's pretty realistic, more than half of my outs are flyouts to mid-deep center field. I tried normal, but so far, I don't like the idea of aiming the hit.

What do you guys find the most realistic, and at the same time, fun? Thanks ahead of time.

Well I was thinking about trading in ASB for WSB LOL. Can you trade in a opened game if you have had it for a while for a new one? Anyways, I used the Classic cursor and it was my favorite.

For the most part Classic gives the most realistic results, although you're right, there are too many flyouts. I used the regular cursor for a while, but when you aim it the ball almost always goes there. I tried not aiming at all, but that just gave me a lot of grounders up the middle.

The first 30 games of my season I played w/normal cursor and went 28-2. I did NOT aim hits, if I swung with contact I just tilt the cursor slightly up, trying to hit a line drive. The problem I had with normal is that I seem to have really good thumb reflexes cus I was easily scoring over 10 runs a game pretty consitantly, close to 30 at times. I hardly ever used the contact icon, it was strictly power swing and I had close to a HR a game with Bonds, and everyone else on my team was blasting the ball too. The strikeouts and walks were very realistic, but with power swing I was just killing the ball. I tried classic, but I didn't really care for the bigger icon, so I've been playing on zone for the last 20 or so games. My record is still good, but my offense has come back down to earth. I'm usually lucky to get over 5 runs a game, and I think I'm averaging 1 or 2 hrs a game as a TEAM rather than one player.

What is zone hitting, and how do you use it? I bought my copy from ebay and don't have a manual. Thanks.

Why is it when I try to swing often times the batter only checks his swing? I am not just tapping the A button (XBOX). Is it because I'm moving the cursor too? Also, do you hit foul balls with zone? Is everything a fly to center with zone?
