Long time lurker, first time poster. I wanted to see if you guys have seen this stuff, a couple of bugs I'm having problems with.
I'm playing expansion mode, about 20 some games in the season, and about once a week, I think it's either Saturday or Sunday games, the game locks up on the loading screen with the baseball at the bottom. This happens right after I check lineups, pitchers, options etc and right before my games starts. I try it 3 or 4 times and it always locks up, but then I sim that one game, go to the next one and it's okay. This has happened 3 times so far.
Another deal. I tried scenario mode last night for the first time - the Derek Lowe no-hitter. I failed to break it up, quit, then return to franchise mode to play with my expansion Idaho Miners. So when I go to check my lineup, I suddenly have the Boston Red Sox lineup, but it says they are the Idaho Miners. Then I go into play the game, and Derek Lowe is pitching for my Miners and he has a no hitter, winning 10-0 in the 9th, just like in the Scenario Mode! Freaky stuff. I cut the game off, reloaded, and everything was okay. But I hope that doesn't happen every time or it may prevent me from playing Scenario Mode. If I would have saved after that mess up I wonder if I would have permanently had the Red Sox line up? Anybody seen this?
Finally, this isn't a bug, but a question. I haven't found a way to change the camera view. Is this possible? I traded WSB in for ASB and I liked the fact that WSB allowed you to use that pitching camera that looked like TV. I don't see why Acclaim won't put in some kind of camera choices other than on replay. It seems like an easy thing to do, and it's a good mix up once things get a little monotonous. Maybe I'm missing something, but I haven't seen anywhere to change the camera angle.
