    ASB Long-Term Contracts

I simmed to the end my season just to see what would happen. I noticed that once I finished the playoffs, all of my players from the "Long-Term Contracts" screen earlier in the year were now free agents. Does this mean that I have to re-negotiate contracts before the season is over? In real life, they negotiate contracts with players who have 0 years left in their contract during the off season, you don't have to do it in the middle of the season. Am I missing something here?

it appears you can only work out long term deals with those players whos contracts are up after that current season

if you are in your first year then its best to negociate before spring training or during the season. after your first year is done then the people that have 0 years left for the next season must be done. and so on. hopefully that helps a little

have you guys noticed how much CAPs want?
                      Damiam Miller is asking 44/yr!
                      WTF?
I'm gonna edit him down to D-, but past experience suggests that he will still ask for 30+
                      Australian Rules Football...just sayin'
