If you go into the "Edit Player" feature in ASB-2004 (PS2) and look at the pitching stats of a pitcher that has 5 different pitches (like Keven Brown or MIke Mussina) you may notice it only shows their top 4 pitches. In the case of Keven Brown, it does not show his Splitter. When you leave the Player Editor by pressing "X" on the "Done" line it will save any changes you've made to his attributes and of course, randomize both his Health and Effectiveness ratings. The next time you pitch with him he will have lost his 5th pitch. It vanished. My question is this: Is there any way to either create a pitcher with 5 pitches or edit one that already has 5 without loosing the 5th pitch? I don't care if its a cheat, a code or whatever, I just want to know if it can be done.
