    Re: ASB Question

Wow...I will third that motion. Excellent idea on the part of you guys to improve the "BB" realism of the game.

      Re: ASB Question

I did this mabey 7 games ago and it works wonders. I noticed that the cpu has a hard time getting runners in scoring position. So by throwing some walks, it helps thier offense out alot. I lost my last 4 out of 5 games due to this.I'd walk a lead off batter, someone will bunt him over, then they may actually get a hit to score that run. Instead of the usual base hit and three straight pop ups.
Try it, you'll love this game more when you give the cpu actual scoring opportunities. Now I feel like my pitchers real attributes are showing.
I was just wondering if the cpu played beter on vteran because at one point I won 6 straight games. But as soon as I start wondering, they proceed to beat my *** again. Never fails.

            Re: ASB Question

I find the CPU offense to be the same on either level. Basically, They have huge innings more often than they have little 1-2 ruun innings. Maybe its just me. The CPU has a way of hitting pitch after pitch at times, kinda like there is a momemtum meter...?
As for the CPU having trouble getting RISP, i don't think so. They have trouble hitting HRs. They hit tons of doubles though. Granted, they will have power streaks.
Bagwell hit 4 in 2 games off of me (KWood), and Griffey hit 2 in 3. One outing with KWood, who for some reason gets no props in this game, he gave up a HR in 4 of the first 5 innings. I STILL WON in the last 2 innings with a salami be SOSA!!!!
The point: I think the CPU bats the saem,,,,,that being weakly, in general.
            Australian Rules Football...just sayin'
