More ASB frustration..

Well im using the whitesox...and with the recent trades i want to have Everette and Alomar on my team...so it looks like im gonna have to start all over and sim to my place since its near impossible to get these 2 without giving up buehrle, mags or Carlos Lee.

....now in options before i start my franchise...I CANT get either of them into the free agent pool or on my team because of "position integrity" What is that...and can anyone PLLLLLEEEEAAASSSEEEE help me...im about to break my hand against my wall im getting so frustrated.

I'm not quite sure anyone can tell u how to deal with this. We've all had this problem and could not figure out how to get around it. I have no clue why "position integrity" is so important outside of the franchise mode and I think Acclaim hurried to get a Roster Management mode outside of the franchise mode because of the many complaints about its absence last year.

I'm sorry but its gonna be incredibly difficult to do much of the trading you want outside of the franchise mode.

Now I don't know if this is right, but it is my guess. It seems to me that the only times I get the position integrity thing is when I am trading two people who play different positions.

1 more question....how do i create a young player? everytime I try to create someone they are in the mid to higher 30's...ahhhhh! anyone?

Created Player ages are random so here's what you should do:

1. In Create-a-Player mode, only fill out the following information, because they are the only ones that are uneditable:

- Position
- Bat hand (left or right handed)
- Throwing arm (left or right handed)

2. Next, without editting anything else, save the player and remember his name.

3. Go to the Free Agent Pool and scroll all the way to the bottom and look for the player you just created.

4. Check his age, if you don't like it, just exit and go back to Create-a-Player mode and remake players using the same steps as above.

If you don't get the age you want after all of that work, you might as well exit your franchise without saving(if your in one) or restart your game. Sometimes its very hard to get the right age so it could get frustrating. If you don't wanna go this route, just try editting an existing player with the same age, position, batting hand, and throwing arm as the one you wish to create.

thanks for the advice...i tried it..and i kept gettin bad ages, so i just edited a player from my farm system who played the position i wanted that was a rookie and that i didnt know.
