ASB questions

I just bought ASB and I have some questions.

First off in my expansion mode I am in my 3rd year in spring training, every time I try to simulate to get to the regular season the game just freezes, has anyone else had this problem and how do I fix this??????

Second, how do you bunt. In the instruction book it says press circle, but when I do he doesn't bunt and just takes the pitch.

Thirdly, how do you guess the pitch, it doesn't really tell you in the booklet.

To bunt, hold down circle before he starts to pitch. To drag bunt, hit circle once when he starts to pitch, then hit circle again(don't hold it down) when it gets to the plate. This is difficult and takes a lot of practice.

To guess pitch, hold down L2 and choose the button of the corresponding pitch. Or, guess part of the strike zone by holding L2 and the left analog to the direction of the zone you think the pitch will go. No clue on the expansion question. Hope this helps.
