    ASB Pitching Question

I played a lot of ASB over the weekend and my problem is that I can't seem to stop the CPU from shelling my pitcher? Can anyone give me some good pitching tips? Can you have ppitching duels with this game? I use classic cursor and noticed a lack of DP balls because hardly anything gets hit on the ground. Thanks.

Classic cursor results in a huge amount of fly balls... try normal or zone for more realistic groundball/flyball %

Zone I believe is the best, but not the easiest to master.

I actually have more problems getting to CPU to score against me than getting shelled, so I can't help ya there.

Try using generated counts. My Phillies (with the addition of Kris Benson and Francisco Rosriguez) have an era below 2 and are averaging like 10 strikeouts a game w/ generated counts.

Look and see where each hitter's hot and cold zones are and stay away from the hot zones for the most part. mix up your locations, pitches, and speeds. A fastball to a cold zone followed by a changeup low and way or low inside will get you some K's.
