ASB-Computer hits best on Veteran level+interesting sight

I have seen a few posts talking about how to get the computer to "go after you". Some say rookie, some say All-Star, but after trying all the levels, I've found the computer hits best on the Veteran setting. What's your opinion? Also something interesting I did in a game...the ball was heading foul behind the first base dugout, I pushed R1 and my first baseman (Martinez) jumped up on top of the dugout and caught the ball (part of his body was blending in with the stands and dugout) anybody seen this?

I couldn't agree with you more! After 3 or 4 months of posts on OP & testing this game out, I find these things most important when trying to get realistic results...

    Level- Veteran
    Pitching aid- Off
    Hitting aid- Off
    Feilding- Manual
    Lead off- Manual
    Generated counts- On
    Pitching speed- Normal
    Gameplay- Fast

Plus... I lower all of my pitchers stamina from D- to D+ depending on who they are. Try lowering EVERY pitcher's control to D- too. I even throw an intentional ball 4 to EVERY batter who comes to the plate with a generated count of 3-0. (provided the bases aren't loaded)

Sure, I'll occasionaly have a game where I have 23 hits while scoring 15 runs. But, I've flirted with being no-hit more than once too. With these settings, my stats come out pretty darn realisticaly over the course of a season. (90 games played so far) Plus, the computer also scores runs with these settings...

Ps, Ps... I not only jumped onto a dugout... I jumped onto a dugout then into the stands & missed a foul ball which was 20 rows up! I think I was laughing so hard that i lost my concentration!

One time the computer robbed my of a home run, but the animation is so cool and I was already winning so I didn't care that much
