Re: 2k or The Show: better night time graphics?
The Show, but I think 2K has a better looking night time transition. That is, it has a better looking sky color when it is going through its nighttime phase. I don't think it maybe has as many transition sequences, but at least it doesn't go to that strange gray step. The other issue I have is The Show has a nice and smooth transition (though again, goes "gray" instead of a dark blue), but then it suddenly jumps to a very dark color, and then finally to pitch black in a two batter span. If only they add like five to seven more transitions between there, it will look much better.
Otherwise, The Show definitely has better on-field lighting with the players and the multiple shadows being reflected by the many lighting angles, whereas 2K doesn't have any (at least on the PS3 version). I could also make a comparative argument where I say "2K day vs. 2K night compared to The Show day vs. The Show night", but I'd still say that The Show gets a better edge of looking better, even when considering how they have better graphics in general anyway.Samsung PN60F8500 PDP / Anthem MRX 720 / Klipsch RC-62 II / Klipsch RF-82 II (x2) / Insignia NS-B2111 (x2) / SVS PC13-Ultra / SVS SB-2000 / Sony MDR-7506 Professional / Audio-Technica ATH-R70x / Sony PS3 & PS4 / DirecTV HR44-500 / DarbeeVision DVP-5000 / Panamax M5400-PM / Elgato HD60Comment

THATS why i started the thread
I was in awe over it.
if only the richness of the graphics were there in 2k then they really would have looked sweet.

MLB 10's lighting is on another planet...
That said, 2k10 ain't too shabby.
I will continue to say that if you play either game for too long(like we have here at tombasports) both games will start to grow on you more and more and look even more real.Brand New Tomba Slider sets ready for Next Gen Versions of NBA,Madden and Fifa Stay Tuned...Comment

i totally think 2k owns the show in this department. i am shocked how nice it looks.
the 4 to 7 light transition is the best lighting lookComment
