    Outfield fundamental question

Need a little help. I help coach a Bronco League team and we are two games away from winning the Summer season championship. We've kind of gotten away from some basic fundamentals. Our outfielders are fairly good at charging the ball and throwing out runners or stopping the extra base. Last two games some are charging and tryng to throw the ball before they have it. I'm embarrassed to say I forgot what knee they are to drop down on and we got away from teaching it.. I want them charging, dropping, and coming up firing. I believe they should drop on the glove knee and my buddy states the throwing hand knee. We now have convinced each other the other guy is correct. We are both so old we forgot the fundamentals. Hopefully you youngins can straighten out two geezers. Thanks.

Right hander would drop to his right knee and vise versa.

Thank you. I don't see other teams doing it and I feel shame for not teaching them this fundamental practice. From here on in it's our pregame ritual. Thanks again.

No problem. Its definitely a good tool to keep them from making rash decisions with the ball.
