Yes...same game. Patches are no big deal. I've had mine about 3 months ($20.00), so this is a great deal.

It was on back order for 2 weeks. So I canceled.... Doubt I even get now. Just really liked the demo and wanted to give the real deal a shot. Would hate to buy it and not be able to do a fantasy league. If it's the same them maybe I'll re-order.

Its my understanding that with the boxed version you are unable to do historical seasons.

No...If I am thinking correctly..you CAN do any season you like, starting whenever you like. I'am not sure of an option where you can only do 1 season...say 1961.

But, I have the box verson, and have no problems with any thing the online vs offered. You can still download ball parks, players, uniforms etc.

Decided to take trip to nearest BB that had it. It is the deluxe version and you can do everything Woot!

I would be down for a small league of OS players.

Maybe an 8 team league to start it off and if it goes well for a few years and we have interest in others joining we could expand to a few teams.

I would love to be in a small league with OS only people. Not sure how good leagues are when you have a mix or humans and computers. So I'd rather keep it all humans, but if we had to have a few computer controlled teams I would do it just to have an OS league.
