MLB Power Pros 2008 Password Help

Does anyone know how to type in other people's Success Mode passwords?
When ever I finish typing in a password, it just gives me this orange arrow pointing to the next empty box.

    Any help would be appreciated.

    Here's a example:

When I re-type in the code, it just gives me an orange arrow in the next empty box.

Alright, I'm just gonna ask some questions, they may seem dumb but it might help me figure out what's wrong.

You are typing in a password of a player someone else made, correct?

What system do you have MLB Power Pros on?

What system was this player you are trying to enter made on?

I'm sure you probably have, but did you look over the password a few times to make sure it was correct? It's easy to overlook one mistake.

        Yes.

        Wii.

        Wii.

And yes I looked it over just to be sure.

*BTW it may seem stupid that I still play MLBPP but my MLB 2K10 is broke.
        Thanks for the help though.

Alright, well I can't check it out right now but I'm going to try and type in some passwords later tonight and see if I can get the same thing as you are. I do not have a Wii, so unfortunately I cannot test the specific password you are using.

One more thing you could possibly check, have you looked at the screen that shows all your success players since you've tried to put the password in just to see if the player showed up or not? I haven't put in a password in a while, but if I remember correctly I don't think the indicator that the password worked was that obvious. I could be wrong though.

Not at all, I still love playing this game. It's lots of fun, much easier just to ignore the flaws. Probably because the characters look like cartoons and don't have legs, ha.

I'll check that but usually if I press OK it won't go through.

Never mind! I typed in a code earlier, and just came back to it, then pressed OK and it worked!

Go into arrange mode. Start a Red Sox arrange team if you haven't already. Then go to Pitcher or Fielder Select, obviously depending on if he's a pitcher or fielder. The team on the top is your new arrange team, the teams on the bottom are the original teams where you can select players from. The team on the bottom will always be on the Boston Red Sox at first, so scroll left through the teams. Look for the team icon that has a green background and a players head and a number in the bottom left corner. Those are all your success mode players. Just scroll through those until you find the player you want to add. Click on him, and either replace someone on the team or put him in an empty space if the team has empty spaces.

Hope this is explained well enough, I don't consider myself that good at explaining things
