I was always a fan of Oaka in Bases Loaded but Paste was a beast.
I'd like to talk to you about a serious problem. Packs of wild dogs that have taken over most of the major cities.

Paste was best in the game. He killed me every time I played. Man I loved that game. I remember I used to play with another team. The stud on that team had like 50 HR, and he had an upright batting stance. Can't remember the name. But I believe he had the second highest HR total in that game.

Talk about ultimate !! fantasy ...Baseball Stars was an amazing !! and one of the most underated games ever because it let you build your players attributes by earning attribute points after a win ....You had a choice of building a certain players speed, fielding, power, contact ect. ect. and the same thing with pitchers to ...Pretty sure it let you also name all your players to

There was also a nice little gambling aspect to this game because the winner of a game would earn attribute points, but the loser would not get any

Never understood why nobody did some type of re-make of this game with today graphics added ...I mean this game did not even have an MLB license and it was still an absolute blast to play

Fantasy wise !! u were GM, manager and player and you had to make tough choices on what you wanted to with you attribute points and what players and what area's of your team you wanted to make stronger after every win

My brother and a buddy of mine played this game for hours upon hours back in the 80's and 90's

Would love to see a re-make of this game because of fantasy / gambling aspect that's in it

Still my favorite game of all time. If they would remake that game it would probably still be the only game I would ever play. I played it so much that the screen went blank and sadly enough i was never able to find another one.

I was actually getting emotional when I was watching this Baseball Stars video on You tube

It's unbelievable !! how they had this great concept in gaming where you had gameplay, fantasy and even a slight gambling aspect all in on game over 20 years ago, but nobody has duplicated it yet

I'm telling you this game is a pure example that it's all about gameplay and NOT !! graphics

I just watch it, boy that brought back memories. I loved that game so much. I have never played a game more than that game. The only game that I come close to playing that much is MLB the show. Thankfully the show does gameplay and graphics well. The Show is the soul reason i bought a PS3 becuase in 2008 I had enough of the crap that 2k was putting out so I bought a PS3. I also enjoyed EA's MVP series that was a great game IMO. To bad EA quit making baseball that way i would have 2 great games of baseball to chose from but atleast I have MLB the show.

Awesome article! Love Griffey. Griffey on SNES was money. Ron Gant on alot of different games was a beast.
