Who has both 2K11 and The Show?

I'm now a dual citizen after picking up MLB 2K11 for the 360 yesterday. I've had MLB 11 The Show since release. Both games bring something unique to the table and I think if you are a baseball fan, you can make room in your gaming library for both titles.

Right now I'm just enjoying Exhibition games in MLB 2K11 until the regular season arrives. Once March 31 gets here, I'll be all over MLB Today. If I decide to dive into Franchise, I'll probably run with an AL team, just to switch things up from The Show.

As for The Show, I'm currently in Spring Training with the Colorado Rockies. Using all Analog controls, I need the practice to get ready for when Opening Day hits. I'm feeling good about pitching, but my hitting and fielding both still need work.

It should be a fun summer as I can follow the real MLB season with MLB 2K11's MLB Today and then get immersed into my own MLB universe with The Show's Franchise mode.

This is what i did last year and will do again this year.

Run my franchise with the Show, and use 2k11 for MLB Today.

Count me in on the $120 baseball club!

I play The Show with my son using the "Rival" mode, along with some Home Run Derby. But my guilty pleasure is still MLB2K11 when everyone has gone to bed.

I have both, and pre-ordered PYS 2011. Guess I'm a soon to be triple citizen? lol

Re: Who has both 2K11 and The Show?

I finally got to try the 2K11 PC version. I think that if you don't have a PS3, this is The Show on PC for the most part. I actually think the players move a bit more "organically", especially in the field, which is my biggest hang up with The Show. However, I have yet to get the same "feel" when batting as I do with MVP versus either of those titles. Also, in the PC version, if you play with the "classic pitching mod" and the correct settings, it's just a tremendous offline experience.... apparently the EA catch up logic programmers weren't allowed near the development rooms and PC's when they developed this product years ago.

I just haven't been drawn back to popping in The Show since I bought it new this year and I doubt 2K11 will sit on my PC for very long as I'd like to get a decent resale for it..... as I do The Show 11.
