Baseball games typically get released in late February/early March. Microsoft just recently acquired the High Heat brand. It normally takes 9-10 months for a developer to release the next year's version of your favorite baseball title. Do you really think that they are going to have time to go through the game code, line by line, sort through the art, pixel by pixel, and get High Heat onto store shelves for next year? I seriously doubt it.

Yeah I doubt it. I just wonder if they'll release some sort of updated roster HH2005 or just forget 2005 all together. 3DO also was working on HH2k5 before they went under so who knows what state the game is in at this point.

Where di you hear that?

www.hh2004.net.
That site is pretty close with Mike Saperstein the producer of the HH series and he mentioned it. I'm sure once HH2K4 hit shelves, they began working on the next version. I just have no idea (and Mike didn't mention anything either) about how far they got.
