Is Pure Sim Baseball a good PC Sim?

I was looking for something different to get then OOTP5. Mainly because I don't have $35. I was wondering if Pure Sim was any good and if anyone could recommend anything else?

I played the beta back in 2001, and it was a cool game with long load times. From what I can remember, the game presentation was really cool, but it's not as fun as OOTP.

To be honest, I'd go with OOTP5, or even just wait until next year and get OOTP6. From what I heard Shawn Sullivan (the creator of Puresim) has gone over and joined the .400 sports studios crowd. So now its going to be a competition between the two, which will yield a better game.

I think OOTP 5 was just dropped to 19.95 a few days ago, in attempt to sell a few more copies before the new version is released next spring. That and Marcus has been great in supporting his product, in fact, he just released a new patch for it the other day.

Well, it was $35 before, and I purchased that in a heartbeat. I'd be willing to pay well over $50 for this game, so not only is it worth $20... for $20 it's a STEAL.
