They both have the "same" rosters. Instead of doing the rosters all over again in mvp 07 they just replaced the team in the rankings.

For example, let's say Texas is ranked #6 in MVP 06 and Rice was ranked #6 in Mvp 07. Rice would have the same exact roster in MVP 07 as Texas did in MVP06. That being said, I'm not exactly sure if the rosters are from the 2006 season or the 2005 season. I'm pretty sure baseball america or rivals will have the top college players for those two seasons somewhere, just match their height/weight with the player in 06 or 07.

It's 07 hands down. Even though the team botched the stick pitching (pitchers aren't able to reach top speed with it), the game improved under the hood. It still plays a rather solid game. 06 had a few glitches that weren't game breakers but annoying enough to make you scratch your head. If I remember correctly, in mvp 06, if you hit a ball on the line that was ruled fair, the fielders would stop moving as if it were foul.

BTW, if you want more power, try mvp 07 with the load and fire batting, for some reason players hit with more power with the stick versus the button. Definitely get 07 it fixes a lot of the issues with 06.

So, my final question is:
- MVP 06 has all the right rosters from the 2005 season (checked, it's definitely the 2005 season)
- MVP 07 has the rosters mixed up from the 2005 season with the rankings from 2006 to 2007 ... HOWEVER, MVP 07 technically has improved gameplay (and fight songs!)

Which one would you go with? Rosters mean a lot to me, but the gameplay does too (and fight songs!)

Does 07 have the ability to edit rosters? I would like to get them up to the current rosters!

Yes, you can edit the rosters in NCAA 07.

The default rosters are pretty messed up.
