    Can someone help with PYS

So I have been wanting to get into PYS for a while. Before shelling out the 100 bucks to get 12 I won an eBay auction for 2010 for 15 bucks, minor investment to try a new game. While not a stranger to the import scene I am having a hard time justifying that this game is that good.

This is where I need the PYS communities help. I am playing on the default settings and everything is WAY more easier than the show. No challenge what so ever, I'm going back to back to back sometimes and I have almost thrown 3 perfect games out of 5. Again someone please tell me what I am doing wrong, I want the same experience that all of you have gotten.

I will say so far my favorite feature of the game is the ability to self an actual pull swing...the show should look into that!

Anyway I look forward to the communities guidance. Thanks.

Yeah go there and tweak up the CPU. Prepare to be schooled. Perfect game? Yeah against you.

Default settings are for kiddies. I addressed this here...

Also check post #183 for additional ways you can make pitching more difficult.

This is what happened Ray Ray, when you started up PYS2010 it read your PS3s IP and saw it was from the U.S. It then saw all the MLB The Show saves and proceeded to dumb down the settings as low as possible to help you ease your way into the game for the first time...

                Haha!

I don't really need to add anything here, since others have already covered it, but yeah, the default settings on PYS are basically intended for kids, or people who have never played a baseball video game before. Keep in mind that user skill weighs much more heavily in PYS, so the differences between the lowest and highest difficulty settings are vast. Kick the CPU pitching and hitting difficulties up to Hard- or Hard, and you will begin to see just how challenging these games can get.

                Enjoy!
