They do have an option for Zone hitting, it's just not very realistic. Plus, when you get used to hitting with a cursor (forget about the freakin' dot), it's hard to go cold turkey or anything. It shows that they thought about that in the development of the game when you look at the Bagwell video...I swear, nobody ever looks close enough. It now has a shadowed impression of a baseball instead of a dot, showing you where it's going. Personally, Zone hitting makes it feel too much like I'm playing a game with some friends in the backyard, instead of the desired effect of playing as a MLB proffessional trying to help out his team.

I would rank it right up there with ASB.

No, I also thought WSB2k3 was the really bad baseball game where you couldn't control stuff. You guys that are telling him no are thinking of ESPN Baseball that is this years game. WSB2k3 was before this year.

I didn't play WSB, but I watched it, and saw those commercials, that game looked awful. The graphics looked way too robotic, and just didn't capture a sense of realism. As far as actual gameplay, I can't comment since I didn't play it. ASB and MVP are the front runners this year. HH might would be in there, but its only gonna be on XBOX, I think that takes it out of contention, besides, those graphics weren't the best either.

WSB2K3 was an excellent game last year. But - with ASB now having custom soundtracks - I am leaning toward ASB for this year....
