Help me here, but if you're using a batting cursor.....wouldn't you need the dot? How are you going to line up the batting cursor? It only makes sense to need a mark of some sort to line the batting cursor up with. Now if you were using zone batting, like HH or the total control like MVP, I can see how you don't need a "dot". But has anygame ever had a batting cursor without a "dot"?
    I can't remember one.

I agree, when your hitting, you should be following the ball, not a dot showing you where the ball is going.

Just get rid of the "dot" for zone batting or have an option to turn it off.

They do have an option for Zone hitting, it's just not very realistic. Plus, when you get used to hitting with a cursor (forget about the freakin' dot), it's hard to go cold turkey or anything. It shows that they thought about that in the development of the game when you look at the Bagwell video...I swear, nobody ever looks close enough. It now has a shadowed impression of a baseball instead of a dot, showing you where it's going. Personally, Zone hitting makes it feel too much like I'm playing a game with some friends in the backyard, instead of the desired effect of playing as a MLB proffessional trying to help out his team.
