Sounds like the game is lacking quite a bit. Am I comprehending that right? Not much to do between seasons, etc and the whole goal is just to make your baseball card the higest valued.

The game definately has areas that it can improve in, but overall, I have found it is very fun. It isnt as deep as OOTP by far, but you have to realize that it is the first release of the game. IMO, a solid debut for the title.
