Re: Release date pushed back for xbox????

I asked a ASB05 developer this questions in another forum a while back...

Question- "if" a gun were pointed at your head, what would be your answer to a ASB05 X-Box release date?

Answer- March 01 "04" BUT not to hold him to that. He then said very early March.

They seen to be right on schedule...

well ps2's reported release date is february 15th

what are they adding to the XBOX version and not in the ps2 version that it would take them 2 extra weeks to put it on the shelf?

It might have nothing to do with adding and testing what so ever. From what I've read from various places, MS likes to do QA of their own. Thus many Xbox titles are released a week later than the PS2 ones. Don't know if that's the reason this time around.

Also that EB's release dates aren't usually that accurate this far in advance. They might not have updated the PS2 yet. Relax

Correct. For instance a couple years ago, I was dying to get NHL2k3 but it was released a couple weeks after the PS2 version. I asked a bunch of questions and found out it was MS doing a Q&A of their own.

The thing that boggles my mind is, there really hasn't been any game that's been shelved due to the Q&A team finding bugs and whatnot. So why do it when you won't even pull a game. I guess it's just to keep developers on their toes....
