Where gave you heard that? In that article it makes it sound like they may scrap IP and not HH. Wishful thinking I know...

To be honest, I haven't. Just a hunch from searching around on a bunch of boards. HH was my favorite game the last few years and I've been searching everywhere to see if it's going to be out this year.
My take on the article was that in August, MS still didn't know what it was going to do. The reason I really don't see HH coming out is due to the time constraints this year. Most games take a full year to be updated and then releases. MS got the HH code in August. If they want to release HH2005 (and ditch IP, which they probably had been working on for a while), they'd waste a lot of time and money. Not a smart business move. It would also give MS only 6-7 months to get HH updated, tested and running and released in optimal baseball game time (Mar or Apr) - or 1/2 the time most game companies have.
I guess it wouldn't be impossible for MS to update all the rosters and tweak some stuff and release HH2005. I just don't see new graphics, animations and features implemented and working with the time constraints that MS has. Maybe next year??? I'd love to see what MS could do with HH and a full year of development under there belts (as long as they don't ruin the gameplay!).Comment
