Which version of Triple Play had the National Anthem play at the start of the game?

I wanna find that game on YouTube, or see if I can dig it up at my house and use it as my Pre-Game music. I was thinking it was Triple Play 97, or 98? Thanks!

Thanks! I can't find my version of it Does anybody still happen to have a PS2 and that game? Could someone turn the announcers, and sound effects off, and upload it to like Megashare or YouTube for me? I would appreciate it a lot if someone could.

It was Triple Play 97. I still play it occasionally, haha.

I wonder what the reason is why Sony will not put the National Anthem in MLB The Show?

I just played it not more than two weeks ago. You should have told me you wanted to see it. I would have recorded some footage of menus, gameplay, and stuff.

I went on a huge kick of playing old PS1 and PS2 games the week before I went back to college for J-term. I played games like ASB 2005 (no memory card, which sucked), Triple Play 2000, Triple Play 98, Crystal Dynamic's 3D Baseball, and NFL Gameday 2002. I still have all my old saves from all these games. It was great fun.

On another topic. That 3D Baseball by Crystal Dynamics had 1996 rosters in it. I came across more Hall of Famers in that came than active players. I think there were only three guys left still playing in it: Derek Jeter, Mariano Rivera, and Jim Thome.

I'm going to go out on a limb and say 99% of the time it is sung and Sony doesn't feel like recording 50 different renditions so it doesn't become repetitive and boring. All they need to do is show the players with they're caps over their hearts, then putting them back on to signal the end of the anthem... which is something already in the game.
