I noticed the laggy swings but it doesn't appear to be happening in these vids. Of course Aclaim wouldn't put out a vid that would make the game look bad but i've heard that that's been addressed.

I understand, and you're right... but trust me, at the most inopportune (sp?) time it will hurt you...

Imagine a two player game on/offline, and a catch in the bottom of the ninth in a tie game is a catch like that....

It has always felt like the bat/swings don't/doesn't really make contact at the same time the ball reaches the plate. It's almost as if the swing was just a SLIGHT bit behind.

Check out some replays (or here at around the 1:18 mark...) and you'll see what I mean...

You guy r talking about the vacuum affect that was real bad two years ago, bad last year and suppose to be out in this years game.Boy that does piss me off man they had a few years now to get rid of that sh!t

I've noticed it too. It looks like they made improvements in the 3 areas that "irked me," i.e., the vacuum effect, the crouch, and the bat/ball contact thing, but haven't fixed any of them completely. Sucks to think that we'll have to wait for next generation ASB to see these removed once and for all.

As always, still looking forward to the game though. ASB will always have a soft spot with me for raising the bar for the other baseball titles the past couple of years.

A bunch of complaints and nicpicking, all of these won't relaly matter if the gameplay is good, but if that's what you look for in a game at this day of age, you're still expecting too much.
