Which baseball game from last year had the hardest franchise mode?

Which baseball game from last year had the hardest franchise mode in terms of difficulty level. For instance, which game made it tough for you to trade players without screwing the other team. Which game had the CPU AI where it wouldn't drop big name players and signed the big name players?

The reason I am asking this is because High Heat for the PC had a good franchise mode but the way it worked was silly. I remember in the game, the Expos released Vladimir Guerrero but as the season started, no team picked him up. One could say it had something to do with money. Well, High Heat 2002 didn't have a financial model. I think 2003 did but it was also poorly implemented.

I'm also asking this because I remember in WSB2k3 last year, it was too easy for me to trade a bunch of players for a big name player and end up screwing the other team. Since WSB2k3 was really easy, I also ended up winning alot of games so my team's budget went up alot too - which translated to more money available to sign bigger names.

So in the end, which baseball game from last year had the best off-the-field franchise AI?

HH2004 off-season is like a joke. They release all the good playera and resign the crappy ones. I had a difficulty in ASB2004 pulling off any trades. I also thought WSB2k3 wasn't that bad. But MVP 2003 was probabily the worst of the bunch. Because they made big player trade deals all the time in the game. So I would have to say ASB2004 get my vote for the best franchise. But not the best gameplay.

I'm with Mr. October....ASB2004 had the best franchise mode...by far. It just lagged behind on the field in some areas. You had the most options with ASB and the trading AI was the toughest(although you could still pull off swindles IMO)
If you kept your trades even 1 for 1, 2 for 2 or three for three..WSB was not that bad. You just had to have willpower not to go the 2 for 1 or 3 for 1...no matter how badly you wanted a player.
          MVP...was way to easy..
          and
High Heat(my favorite BB game)...was an absolute travesty. All the aspects of the computer GM AI were horrendous. HH was by far the worst game off the field. It also lagged behind in one aspect on the field. The computer GM never changed the lineup unless there was an injury in a game you played against it. What I mean is..whatever the lineup is on the team screen...that's the lineup you saw for every game you played against that team. Ridiculous.

I would spend hours trying to trade my way to a team I loved, and it's part of the game I actually enjoyed the most. The majority of my trades were done by Trading Block, because any other way was pretty much impossible. You had to use the block to find out what teams even wanted which players. Keep in mind I wasn't building a bunch of unbeatable teams, but rather just a team that could get it done. It was fun to test the market, and if you ever got anybody you really REALLY wanted, you felt like you'd earned it.

I played High Heat and WSB2k3 last year, and High Heat had the most confusing franchise mode ever, while WSB 2k3 was pretty easy but really fun so I dont know which is the hardest.
