    Yeah, I suppose that could also be the case. Everything I have heard, though, points to it being harder to design for Xbox and downport it to the ps2.

    Splinter Cell is one example I used above, but that may have had more to do with the complex lighting effects than anything else. Also, I didn't play any of the Sega Sports games on ps2 this year or last, but I have read several times that last year's WSB was crap compared to its Xbox cousin.

    It sucks that a lot of companies design first for ps2 and then port to the Xbox because it results in hardly any multiplatform games taking advantage of the graphical capabilities of the X, but it seems to also result in more consistent quality too, meaning one game does not usually look or play worlds better on any one console.
