Useless information

Just for the hell of it I watched all the ASB vids I have and charted where each ball was hit. This is completely unscientific and basically stupid but I did it for fun. I just broke it down into 4 categories. Obviously HR's counted as fly balls and foul balls counted simply as fouls. Here are my results.

Ground Balls: 5
Line Drives: 8
Foul Balls: 7
Fly Balls: 19

What does this mean? Absolutely nothing, but there ya go. One thing that does trouble me a little bit about the videos this year from this and MVP is that I've yet to see a walk. That may not mean anything, but I hope they are as regular as real life.

I think that is cuz who wants to watch a video, a promotional video mind you, of a batter NOT swinging/hitting?

I understand the point and hope that there are walks AND that the CPU sings at pitches out of the strike zone, but they dont help the majority of peeps get excited... Just us realism g33ks..

Yes, who wants to see walks in these promo videos? Most people want to see as much of the game as possible in the few minutes the clip lasts, and usually they pipe the ball down the middle and swing at the first pitch.
