One positive I noticed was that the A-Rod (SS) for Soriano (2B) trade was even possible. Trading a SS for a 2B would have been impossible last season with the roster integrity restraints... A HUGE plus this season

Not giving up yet, but I will tell you this...I am not as "wowed" by the vids and changes with ASB as I am with MVP. My guess is ASB will continue to appeal to its long-term hardcore fans. It will pick up a few converts as well. I think MVP will be the big seller this year...it just looks like they nailed it this year, especially taking into account all the praise Shawn and nivek are giving it here...plus the 2 other posters from the IGN board who are here now.
ESPN will run a distant third I think...just not enough new stuff and some flaws from last year not corrected. I expect MLB to win alot of new fans and be the surprise hit of the summer.
ASB is a great game. If you like how last year's game played, chances are you will love this year. If you were not a big fan of last year, you may not be converted this year either. It seems the stakes have been raised by MVP..in my own opinion...
