No, not regular video game heads, I mean various sites and reviewers. I'm willing to bet that ASB will have lower scores than the other crop of baseball games this year. Thus making Acclaim drop ASB all together.
ASB got a 8.0 from IGN last year. They said the gameplay sucked and all they had going for them was features.
MVP got a 8.5 and WSB had a 9.1.
MVP last year had several hundred flaws and a horrible *** franchise and it managed to beat ASB? I dont get it.
WSB should of been on top last year with ASB a close second but no, ASB is rated down there with Slugfest, which I think had a better score also.
I am in no way trustworthy of scores but the words typed by the reviewer himself. Last year, he basically killed the game and it did'nt sell well. This year I dont think it'll be no diffrent. Youu already saw Game Infrmers ratings and ASB came in dead last, even behind MLB.
And the argument of "you should be the only judge", "play for yourself" does'nt count. Its been plenty of times where ethier a review(s) or impressions made you not want to buy a game. Last year, ESPN Basketball did it for me. So you cant tell me that no one puts any trust in a review or its score. Cause they did.
But all I want to know is why ASB gets no love despite it being the best on field and off field simulation last year. And it will continue to come in last. I really think it comes in last because their are no arcadish elements anywhere in the game. Thats my opinion, what yours?
