    Sega 32x question

For some of the older board members like my self does anyone remember anything about the sega 32x? I am sort of fooling around playing some old school baseball games and I saw something on youtube about world series 95 32x. So i'm wondering, can I just buy the 32x attachment and attach it to the genesis I already have, and then play the WS '95 that I have? Or do I need the 32x WS '95 and a different Sega? Any help would be appreciated.

    Hi,

The 32x pops right into the top of the Genesis. That thing was awesome when I got it one xmas. You can then use any game in there.

      Re: Sega 32x question

You need the actual 32X version of World Series 95 if you want to play it on 32X.

Also, the 32X requires it's own separate power supply, so you'll need the AC adapter for it along with the expansion itself.

Really though, I don't think any of the Genesis baseball games are worth going back to these days except maybe Sports Talk Baseball.

World Series 98 on the Saturn has held up way better than the Genesis/32X editions. So if you really wanted to play a World Series game, that's the one I'd recommend today.

Also, if you have MVP 05 for the PC, I made a batting view similar to the one in WS95.
