I used downloaded rosters, but I never really used them.

I am with Heelfan here. Basically I am starting a franchise with the rosters how they are. From game one, I am writing my own history book.

Of course I usually do an Expansion and Free Agent Draft Franchise as well. But I play my normal franchise completely seperate from real life.

Cool. I guess if there are major trades I sometimes like to replicate them in my season (especially if it helps my team!!). However, I guess I'll probably do what you do and start with the correct lineups and then let my season play itself out.

Yeah, I normally do a Expansion team so it messes up the real life rosters a little bit. I do make all the changes so my rosters are like the opening day rosters. After that, whatever happens, happens.

I tried that with the expansion draft once, but I just couldn't get into it, even though they actually had hartford as a choice. I need realism personally. Thanks for the help guys.
