    Pace of ASB

    I didn't get ASB last year, but I did have it the year before (ASB03). There were alot of great things about the game, but one thing I would have liked to change was the pace of play. There seemed to be a little more time than necessary between pitches, and games took a little longer than I would prefer.

    I heard that things were sped up a bit in last years game. Can any of you ASB experts confirm this and explain what options the game(04 or 05) offers that impact the pace.

      Catchers don't throw the ball back to the pitcher... game killer.

                  Well games are about on par with all the others out there. The average game is about 25-30 minutes. They removed the catcher throwing the ball back like muffin said. There is also an option to speed up the in between cutscene animations, like batter walk ups etc.

                      Well games are about on par with all the others out there. The average game is about 25-30 minutes. They removed the catcher throwing the ball back like muffin said. There is also an option to speed up the in between cutscene animations, like batter walk ups etc.

                              Another thing is using generated counts during the game, they can really speed up a game.
