Do you think Acclaim has finished the game already (or soon)?

The Yankees signed Travis Lee (will be announced tomorrow) and I dont think really any club will make any deals now till the begining of the season so does that mean that Acclaim will be done? I would love to see this game come out next wednesday (instead of 2 weeks from today). Afterall, Yankee spring season games begin next saturday (the 6th) against Toronto. Please Acclaim, get it out next week, I'd be in heaven!

P.S. Anyone see Giambi on Sports Center? He looks like he lost 30 lbs! He claims he really lost 4 lbs (what?) b/c he cut back on fast foods. Giambi, I like you a lot, but just admit you lost the 30 lbs.

I am pretty sure the game is done and sent to MS and SOny for certification. That process usually takes 2 weeks or so.

Once vertified then the duplication process begins and isnt the game due in stores on the 9th of March for PS2/XBOX?

I am almost 100% sure its "in the can" as filmmakers say.

I am pretty sure the game is done and sent to MS and SOny for certification. That process usually takes 2 weeks or so.

Once vertified then the duplication process begins and isnt the game due in stores on the 9th of March for PS2/XBOX?

I am almost 100% sure its "in the can" as filmmakers say.

I dont really know if its finished or not, ASB_Man is part of the Acclaim crew, havent seen him around, maybe they are finishing up now eh? Man, I guess 3/9 is the real date eh? I was praying for a 3/3, I really want to start my Yankees season! Last year I got WSB 2k3, it was not impressive at all, very overrated game, it didnt feel real, ASB has always been smooth and real looking, and a little bit harder for me which I like. I want realism to the max and ASB 2005 looks to have it, there is arbitration, thats really cool! I cant wait.

Maybe he hasn't been around because after the guys finish the game they get a week vacation....

I was gonna say, ASB_Man hasn't been around...wonder if they're in their final days. I hope that doesn't mean that the game(s) will be coming out later in March.

I agree. I'm sure ASB_MAN and the rest of the ASB crew is getting a little well deserved rest and relaxation. I'm sure the final week of development entailed many 17 hour days.

Any changes now (despite how minor they'd be) would still have to go through QA and testing. Then they have to be verified and then duplicated. If they want to get the game out by early March, I'm guessing the development process is finalized.
