The xbox comes in different drives? or did you put it in there? i figure they would all come with the same stuff. this sucks man! if i can't put burned cd's in there i am going to have to put some old songs on there. damn! if anybody else has an opinion on why it isn't working or know what i can do please write.

Yeah, I have a samsung drive too, it reads anything.

bstnredsox. Once you get all your songs done, you might want to go rent Music Mixer and transfer your files that way

oh, so i can get the songs on my computer and then hook up the internet cable to my computer and transfer it using Music Mixer? that would be great! where do i rent it? is it a program i could download at download.com or something? thanks again Ed!

Music Mixer is xbox "game"

You actually download the software from the net, but you need the game disk in the xbox for it to work. I am not sure if any place rents it or not, but I saw it at my local Gamestop for 16 bucks not too long ago. It did not come with the microphone and such.

Basically if you xbox is on LIVE already you probably don't need to do much. Basically you need a LAN connection from your xbox to your PC

FYI, since I have started messing with all of my audio files I went ahead and order Music Mixer off ebay. A guy has 40 copies of it and buy it now is 18.99, 7 shipping, but still 14 bucks cheaper than new . Now I can save money on all those CDrs I burn LOL.
