ESPN or MVP a win win situation for me.

Well last year I bought WSB for xbox. I loved it, sure it had a few flaws like the injury bug and it was pretty easy to strike out the cpu so I hope those are fixed, but I didnt even try MVP last year I just didnt think EA could turn around a franchise in one year ( I thought triple play was horrible like most of u). I didnt even give MVP a chance last year but this is a new year it looks amazing it really dose I only have a few concerns with it such as no postional fatigue I know their is the whole team chemistry thing but dose that apply for the computer as well and if the game will be a challenge. With that said I reserved MVP this year I bought into the hype I hope its a good as it hyped up to be or atleast close lol.

Just in case thoe I reserved ESPN as well I loved WSB like I said earlier its my favorite baseball game yet so I have that to fall back on. So for me its a win win situation really I know ESPN will be as good as last year probally better just incase MVP dosent fulfill my baseball needs. I'm really excited about this baseball season for video games and real life Just wish it was March 10th already. Anyone else in my position?

Good post, great to enjoy reading what you say. Everyone else should do the same thing... I mean seriously, I did the wrong thing last year. Not that I picked the wrong game, but I picked it in the DUMBEST way. I saw this one really good looking screenshot of WSB 2K3, and I was practically sold then. I then saw self-shadowing, and then I was like WHOA!

However, the PS2 version didn't have self-shadowing, but with it or without it, it was the best game out there last year IMO. But the reasons that I was sold on it was stupid, and I feel that I should help people to not be sold for the same kinds of reasons. The MVP boards weren't buzzing until they heard about playable minor leagues. I mean of course, that is a MUCH better reason to be sold on a game, but last year, I didn't just support and defend that game at all costs like all people that are sold to MVP this year. They feel like after hearing about playable minor leagues, they don't want to be brought down in the game's flaws, and defends it at all costs to feel the glory in the game that they want. Who knows? Maybe it's going to end up horrible.

Well, my point is, for the past 3 years, I didn't want to touch Madden, it looked downright horrible in my mind for those last 3 years. However, I'm not overlooking it every other year, I'm not for sure gonna get one game over the other, and I scrap everything from my mind when it's down for me to choose between ESPN, Madden, or Gameday.

So yeah, same with baseball games, and I am getting both also, just ESPN before MVP.

Good post though. It should get people thinking.
