Why cant devs block the use of the other starters in a 9-innjng game?

I HATE THIS about BB games...I have the solution. Which ever starter you pick to pitch in an Exibition or Online game, the other 3-4 pitchers in the rotation could have their fatigue simulated as they just pitched recently, the worst fatigue placed on the pitcher who just pitch last and so forth; moveover, preventing you to put them in the game unless of a long extra inning game or emergencies.

Also, why is it when the pitcher gets on base in a game he doesnt waer a jacket, like in the majors? Not a huge deal but it would add to the realism.

easier way to handle this is to limit yourself to playing against random idiots. I think it'll be nice to have a few friendly rivalries with the guys here thata will be on xbl.

This is the ASB forum, have you ever played ASB? Because ASB has had the pitcher wear a Jacket when he is on base for a long time now.

Online Game? If I believe, ASB 2004 wasn't online last year. You might have the wrong game.

I'm sure if a guy is getting hammers in 2 or 3 innings and the relievers behind him fail, the starter who's moderately ready will come in.

Other than that, this is pointless crap you posted that isn't even accurate with this game. Don't waste bandwidth.

P.S. the pitchers did where the jackets when they were on base. Probably another thing that convicts you of posting SPAM here since you probably haven't played the game, and if you did, it was only one game.

I agree that it is kind of lame and I like your idea with making the others tired. I am seriously always amazed at the lengths people will go to online to 'win'. I do not doubt you will see guys playing a new starter every 2.5 innings.

But I guess for this year you will just need to state it up front with the person your playing. It shouldn't be a huge deal for most people. If someone goes back on their word then use your other starters for that game as well, beat them and never play that person again. Mostly though just play your friends.
